Gloria DLGC would like to invite you , your kids, nieces and nephews and friends to a special Christmas afternoon party. Young children that are unable to attend our regular carols concert are particularly welcome as Santa Claus himself is going to make an appearance. It is our first time organising such an event and would really appreciate support from the community in promoting the event. We would particularly welcome contributions of time , talent and money from companies and gifted individuals with organising the afternoon and in supervising the afternoon. We hope to have a few games, face painting , balloons etc as well as sing along carols. Admission is free.
Adults please bring gifts for Santa to distribute for your little ones as he is saving all his money for the big day on Dec 25th ! Offerings of refreshments, cakes are also welcome.

Gloria DLGC will be singing carols at the Tree lighting ceremony at the CHQ area of the IFSC in aid of St Patrick’s Hospital Foundation. RTE’s Daithi O’Se will be turning on the lights around 6.45pm. Come on down and soak up the festive atmosphere.
St. Patrick’s Hospital Foundation fundraises on behalf of St. Patrick’s University Hospital.
It is over 250 years since Jonathan Swift, Dean of St. Patrick’s Cathedral and one of Ireland’s best known authors founded St. Patrick’s specifically to provide services to people suffering from mental illness. Today the need for our services is greater than ever.
One in four people in Ireland will suffer from mental illness at some point in their lives. For young people, the startling statistic is one in five.
St. Patrick’s is Ireland’s largest independent provider of mental health services. It is a not-for-profit organisation which uses the monies raised through the Foundation to provide facilities and services for the assessment, treatment and aftercare of people experiencing mental illness.
